Trainings

The training provided in the framework of the Admin4All program is based on principles aimed to ensure an effective and comprehensive preparation, enabling the participants to understand the scope of the migration phenomenon as well as the importance of their role.

It is based on an interactive method which combines brief introduction of information or theoretical models with reflections based on practice and case studies building on participants’ experience.

Particular attention is given to sensitive issues, questions, sharing of practices and day-to-day work problems, trying to build a constructive approach and improve future practices.

In particular, the training programme aims to:

  • Recognising the professional competence and expertise of participants. Avoiding a patronising approach, stimulating peer reflection and encouraging participants to take ownership;
  • Creating an atmosphere of safety and confidence in which participants can openly express their concerns, questions, doubts, and fears, without pressure to comply to a politically correct discourse, while promoting a human rights based approach;
  • Presenting the complexity of issues related to the inclusion of migrants in a nuanced way , without generalising, without avoiding sensitive issues;
  • Overcoming the tendency for easy and quick solutions.
